, Inc, a small, family owned and operated contract manufacturer has a full-time opening for a HR Generalist in their North Easton, MA facility.
This role supports the delivery of HR projects, policies, and procedures ranging from recruitment and performance management to employee relations.
The HR Generalist will act as the first point of contact and collaborate closely with others to provide support for a wide range of HR needs and initiatives.
Principal ResponsibilitiesPlay a counsel role with the management team to establish good human resources practices in order to promote an efficient work environment.
Establish effective onboarding procedures and conduct new employee orientation.
Advise and guide managers on HR issues (e.
g.
conflict resolution, performance management, attendance issues).
Advance issues as appropriate to the VP, based on complexity.
Partner with management team to promote employee growth and development (HR planning, career mapping)Oversee Human Resource functions including Employee Relations, Benefits, Workers Compensation, LOA, Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, Wage and Payroll, Policy and Procedure Administration within the Manufacturing Facility.
Play a meaningful role in driving positive employee engagementCoordinate Claims Management and Return to Work for both Workers Compensation and Non-Occupational injuries or illnessesFacilitate relevant HR training to supervisors and hourly employees (ADA, Respect in the Workplace, Privacy, etc.
) and maintain training records.
Conduct Exit Interviews for hourly employeesCraft and maintain plant reference manuals, standards, policies, procedures, and work instructions that fall under the scope of Human Resources.
Have an understanding of an ISO Quality Management SystemTeam with Management for additional projects as requested or directed.
Qualifications & ExperienceExperience in a manufacturing environment a plusBachelors degree (or certification) in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related field3-5 years HR generalist experienceAbility to travel occasionally when required;Strong skills oriented on teamworkProficiency Microsoft Office Suite.
